‘American Idol XIV’ reaction: Tyanna Jones vows to keep fighting

American Idol -While of course Tyanna Jones may feel at least somewhat sad over the fact that she is no longer a contestant on “American Idol” this season, let’s be honest here: She at the same time has more than a little bit to be excited about at the moment. Despite being one of the youngest people in the competition this season, she made it to the top five! This means that she will get the chance to go on tour this summer, which could very well end up being one of the coolest experiences of her entire life. It is pretty hard to envision a scenario where it would not be.

So what does Tyanna have to say about her exit? The post on her Twitter account says almost everything, as she still envisions a big career ahead for her. Ultimately, we don’t see any reason why this couldn’t happen for her.

The biggest lesson that we would give Tyanna or any other castoff from the show is to be patient more than anything else. Rome is not built in the day, and neither is your career now that the show is not longer a launching pad to instant stardom. You have to surround yourself with great people, hit the studio often, and figure out what makes you different from all the others. We have already have multiple examples of people who find fame after the show in unexpected ways. Just look at Jennifer Hudson or Katie Stevens. Even Katharine McPhee counts for this to a certain extent.

We’ll have more “American Idol” news soon, so stay tuned.
