‘Bones’ season 10, episode 17 preview: Emily Deschanel stars in two-hour event

Bones -With “Backstrom” ending on Fox Thursday night, this does open up another spot in the May sweeps schedule for Fox. With that in mind, can you really be surprised that the network is going to try to fill that void with another installment of “Bones“? You really shouldn’t be.

We don’t want to speak too much just yet about whether or not “The Lost in the Found” and “The Verdict in the Victims” are linked in any way, but on the surface, it doesn’t really appear like they are. It may just be two action-packed cases that give you something great to watch over the course of a couple of hours. Take a look at the connected synopsis for both episodes right now below:

“When the remains of a private high school student are discovered in a ditch, Brennan and Booth surmise that bullying was a factor. When Brennan finds similarities between her own teen years and the victim’s, it leads the team to question whether or not the girl’s death was, in fact, a murder. Then, with only 48 hours left till execution of serial killer Alex Rockwell, whom Brennan and Booth helped convict, the Jeffersonian team must race against the clock to confirm Brennan’s new suspicion that Rockwell may not have been responsible for those crimes.”

Even with these two episodes airing back-to-back, you should be aware that “Bones” is going to be ending its season within sweeps. It will be one of the few series that extends beyond that, and it is happening at a time where the future for the series remains unclear. We hope that it will return (and feel like it likely will), but nothing is confirmed.
