Out of all the “Britain’s Got Talent” live performance shows we have seen this week (read our full review here), Wednesday’s show was certainly the most predictable. There were five acts that we could actually see advancing to the live shows — and there was some genuine variety to come with it.
So did Britain vote on talent, age, or their inherent love for dancers and singers above all else? Read on to find out.
Britain’s pick – Sam Kelly. We admit that we are a bit surprised — even though he was solid, there also was nothing about his performance that necessarily drew any headlines. (He was trending on Twitter after the performance episode aired, though.)
Judges’ pick – The vote came between Malaki Paul and Nu Sxool — so in other words, it was kids taking on kids. David Walliams voted for Nu Sxool, and then Alesha Dixon changed things up and actually picked someone outside of her dance genre in Malaki. Amanda Holden decided to pick Nu Sxool, and Simon Cowell ultimately decided to put the dance group through to the final.
Ultimately, we admit to being a bit disappointed in the overall results this week — mostly because some creative acts (Gatis Kandis, Brynolf and Ljung) were eliminated over singers and dancers — which we have seen time and time again.
What did you think about these results?
