‘Gotham’ episode 21 preview: Are we about to see the Batcave?

Gotham -There are only two episodes left of “Gotham” before we get to the end of this season, and you better believe that war is coming, and it will involve almost every important character before it ends. While the new sneak-peek video below is not completely revealing (at least in the form that not all of it is new footage), we do feel still like it gives you at least some of the sense of what is to come.

First and foremost, the Penguin is clearly angry … and to take a page from another hero in the Hulk, you are probably not going to like him when he’s angry. He goes on a completely violent tear here, and he seems to be starting to get himself together in preparing for the epic war ahead involving him, Carmine Falcone, Maroni, and Fish Mooney. We already know that Mooney is going to be gone in one way or another this season, and we wouldn’t be shocked if one of the other two crime bosses joins him. We’d appeal for more Maroni, mostly because he and Oswald have a history now that would be interesting to follow for at least a little while longer.

The most notable moment of the entire preview, though, comes at the tail end. Are we about to get our first glimpse at the Batcave? While it may not be fully formed just yet, this is at least a nice bit of evidence that the show is starting to build towards something that could eventually be a safe haven for Bruce.

If you have enjoyed the story arc as of late, odds are you will not be disappointed by how things come to a close.
