‘Outlander’ episode 12 preview: Teases on Jamie, Claire, more in ‘Lallybroch’

On Saturday night’s new episode of “Outlander,” Jamie Fraser is going to be heading home! However, this is not necessarily the homecoming you would imagine. Will there be conflict? Definitely, and you add to that danger, a little romance, and another side of Sam Heughan’s character that you did not know about. Suffice it to say, “Lallybroch” is going to make for another fascinating hour of TV.

Of course, we are not going to tell you everything about this episode now! Why spoil the fun? Instead, the purpose of this article is to present you with a series of teases in terms of what to expect as this story progresses. Hopefully, it will find a way to surprise you … at least if you are not too familiar with the source material.

1. Expect flashbacks aplenty during the episode to various times in Jamie’s past.

2. A shirt will turn out to be a valuable object during the episode, and not necessarily in the way that you would first assume.

3. Does Jamie act the same way at home as he does around the road? You’ll wonder that, sort of like when someone goes back to high school around their old buddies.

4. Claire will find herself in a role of mediator at times, and with a variety of different characters.

5. Once again, be prepared for a shocking end to the episode that changes the stakes for all of the characters moving into the final four episodes of the season. Yep, after this episode we will officially be at the halfway marker of season 1B.
