‘The Amazing Race 26’ episode 10 preview: Problems in Peru

Amazing Race -After tonight’s new episode of “The Amazing Race” that featured a non-elimination leg, there is a chance to for some serious drama next week in Peru. It is almost sure to be an elimination leg, and given that we’re going halfway around the world, we imagine that the teams are going to all catch up with each other.

So what will happen there? It appears per the promo that aired after tonight’s installment in Amsterdam like there will be some difficult challenges, but nothing that really surprises us 26 seasons into the show. We don’t really get any indication that any of these teams is in an enormous amount of trouble.

So without much else to talk about, let’s rank the remaining teams!

5. Mike & Rochelle – Extremely likable, but consistently second-to-last every leg and the least strong physically of the remaining teams.

4. Matt & Ashley – They have to do a Speed Bump; this is not always a huge setback, but the previous two teams to get Speed Bumps this season were sent home the next leg.

3. Hayley & Blair – They seem to function well in the midst of chaos, but we still have a hard time imagining them winning the season with this edit.

2. Jelani & Jenny – They are extremely competitive, and that will probably help them. However, these two are almost robotic and we feel like they may at times be too competitive.

1. Tyler & Laura – So strong the past two weeks, and they are the sort of winners the show can get behind: A likable couple who will surely remain good friends, even if they don’t become anything more in the process.
