‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: More action ahead for Jensen Ackles’ Dean
While there are still many mysteries ahead on “Supernatural” season 10, there is one thing that we are very clearly getting a sense of at the moment: Things are going to be so much worse for Dean Winchester well before it gets better.
This week, The CW unveiled the synopsis when it comes to “The Prisoner,” the penultimate episode of the season airing on Wednesday, May 13. This is going to be an hour that brings you at least somewhat closer to the conclusion of this present Dean storyline presumably involving the Mark of Cain, and if you have thought you’ve seen the worst of Jensen Ackles’ character in his current condition, think again. Just take a look at the official synopsis below:
“When it comes to the Stynes, Dean (Jensen Ackles) decides to take matters into his own hands. Sam (Jared Padalecki) tries to come to terms with his decision.”
By the time we make it to the end of this episode, we do at least feel pretty strongly that we will have a sense of just where the show plans to go for its big finale. Our feeling is that it will be heading into an action-packed conclusion, one that hopefully puts an end to the present mythology while opening the door to something new. Given that we’ve been dealing with the Mark off-and-on for more than a year now, the time feels right to jump into something new that can challenge the boys in very different ways.

Fist of; I LOVE supernatural. This is just my thoughts (some of what a bit angry) involving Dean and the Mark story line. I´m a huge fan! So this negativity is because I love the show and want to share why Im not so happy with where the story line with MoC have gone (I love dark Dean! and the MoC!)
The MoC have NOT had the proper storyline or screentime that I and many fans hoped for. All we have had is couple of scenes, one episode where Dean tortured Metatron, some black eyes, the MoC have been mentation, Cain… that´s it. Even after Cain Dean was “fine”. And now when Cas and Sam is all “Oh no, Dean is in trouble” I don´t see the trouble. Dean is a rough guy, they have been worrying about Deans well being AFTER all the stuff where they should have really been worried. Im not saying that the storyline is bad, is the opposite. I LOVE dark Dean and the MoC, because that for once gives Jensen a story that Sam/Jared can´t follow. And after 9 seasons, I do think Dean deserves a season to his problem – but- the problem has´t been shown in the amount like the line “the year of the Deanmon” imply. Like I wrote above, we have had glimses of Dean acting strange. I really think characters like Crowley and his mother, Claire and some other lose ends, have had more screen time than the boys. Like last episode, 20, I really hoped Dean would kill the angel and go nuts – because how can he go so long without killing when season 9 showed Dean coughing blood because the needed to kill? But all scenes or episode involving Dean always ends with him saying “Im fine” or acting out and then it´s not heard of again – like with Cain. So I hope they don´t cure Dean. Or even better, cure him but give us another Dean back. No one can walk out from MoC and be fine. Like Sam said in the Cain ep – which Dean did, he did come out of it fine and back in the game like nothing – so yeah, i´ts disappointing that this great story has been shuffled under the bed, Jensen have done an amazing job shoving us a different side of Dean. I do believe that the season will end with Dean being cured and “fine” (angry face!) and then we´re back to season 11 Sam centric and every episode we see Sam hurt, in danger,it´s really shown that he´s unwell etc. etc. And NO I LOVE SAM! But I think he have gotten so many stories. And no, hell and purgatory for Dean dosen´t count. We did´t get a lot of hell from Dean – and then Sam went and the whole season 6 was about Sam and hell/soulless- and the same goes for purgatory. There wasn´t so much to tell. So YES, I want more Dean centric and more protective Sam, because Sam deserves a break from being in danger.

This show is unique and has to be appreciated by watching all seasons. I know that it is addicting to some people while others don’t get it. This is how personal taste works. I enjoy this show immensely and I love the cast, writers and the crew. Long Live Supernatural.

i’m shocked to see that this show is still on tv. i thought it went off a long, long time ago. why is it that horrible, stupid shows like this last FOREVER and wonderful, quality shows like Downton Abbey and Nurse Jackie go off way before their time. makes no sense.

You do know you can simply change the channel right? The show is still on because the fans love it because it’s something different every time it’s not a normal tv show like CSI, people piss me off when they go “Oh why is this show still on?” Survivor is still on and they are going into their 30th season.
