‘Supernatural’ season 10, episode 19 video: Show boss on Sam’s secrets, more in ‘The Werther Project’

When “Supernatural” comes to The CW Tuesday night with “The Werther Project,” we are mostly going to be hit with a few other reminders that trying to solve the Mark of Cain mystery is no easy task. While the Book of the Damned is a good start, there is still a great deal of work to be done to ensure that Sam and Dean Winchester have what they need to move forward.

The video below features showrunner Jeremy Carver taking you through all of the major events of this episode, starting with some of the big revelations regarding the book and taking you into some of what comes next … and some of the secrets that are being kept. Dean is still somewhat in the dark on everything that is really going on.

Now, we come to the part in the story where we discuss what frustrates the heck out of us: The idea that the brothers are STILL keeping secrets from each other. How in the world have they not learned at this point that this is a bad move? Almost every single time they haven’t been honest, there are consequences. Sure, we understand that Dean is unhinged right now, but how’s he going to react when he comes to realize that Sam is withholding information? That’s going to be a blowup if there ever was one.

Hopefully by the end of this episode we are going to have a further opportunity to start to understand more of what is actually transpiring with the Mark, and we start to see some real progress towards the finish line. While we have not necessarily hated this storyline, it does feel like we could benefit from the tale of the Mark coming to a close sooner rather than later.
