‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4, episode 18 preview: Cruella’s plan comes into place

Cruella -Sunday night’s new episode of “Once Upon a Time” is entitled “Sympathy for the de Vil,” and it is going to be a particularly huge one if you enjoy the Cruella character. She has a mission that she is going to try to achieve, and the sneak peeks below give you at least a decent amount of insight into what to expect from her. Let’s just say that her plan may take some of you by surprise.

1. Shut down Maleficent – There is clearly something that Maleficent clearly forgot in her rage to kill Cruella: Her ability to manipulate animals. This was probably all a part of her entire plan: Provoke Kristin Bauer van Straten’s character by talking about her daughter, and then getting her to transform into her dragon form. Then, find a way to take her out of commission for a little while.

The important part of this preview is mostly realizing that Cruella does have her own specific plan and endgame for being in Storybrooke, and it involves the Author … but not necessarily in the way that everyone thinks.

2. Kidnapping Henry – Obviously, Henry is but a pawn in a larger plan for her. Apparently, she wants the Author dead, and wants his body brought to her for some disgusting / unknown reason. This is certainly a fun sneak peek from the vantage point of raising stakes. If you want to anger two people in Storybrooke, we’re pretty sure that you want to pick people other than Regina and Emma. They’ve been through a lot already.
