‘Gotham’ finale spoilers: First details on ‘All Happy Families Are Alike’

Gotham -We have definitely hinted in the past that war is going to arrive on “Gotham” for its season 1 finale, with everyone from Fish Mooney to the Penguin to Maroni and Falcone involved. Want to know something beyond this? Well, Fox was also kind enough to give us some of those details, as well.

What we can tell you for now is that this big finale is entitled “All Happy Families Are Alike,” and it is airing on Monday, May 4. That’s a strange title in itself when you consider just how many unhappy characters probably exist now within the world of the show. Moving beyond that, take a look at the synopsis below for some further news in terms of what to expect:

“As Gotham City’s gang war reaches its boiling point, Fish Mooney goes head-to-head with Maroni and Penguin in an attempt to re-stake her claim on the city. Meanwhile, Barbara and Leslie Thompkins are brought together after recent events, and Bruce searches Wayne Manor for any hints that his father might have left behind.”

By the end of this installment, we imagine that the show has to figure out a way to write out Fish (given that Jada Pinkett Smith only has a one-year deal), and also get Bruce a little bit closer to his eventual destiny. Granted, we’ll be shocked if we ever see him done a black cape and a mask anytime soon. Heck, we’d be mad if we did. He’s not called Batboy!
