‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: ‘The Fallen’ features meeting between Felicity, Ra’s al Ghul
We’ve known for a while now that Felicity Smoak is going to make a bold move in next week’s all new “Arrow” episode entitled “The Fallen,” but we always thought that this move was going to somehow involve her and Oliver Queen hooking up. Given that we’ve seen multiple promos featuring this moment, we’re going to go ahead and assume that this is still happening.
However, it is very possibly that this may not be the big moment actually talked about in the synopsis. Instead, could Emily Bett Rickards’ character really put herself out there in front of Ra’s al Ghul? The photo at the top of this article comes from this episode, and it is in many ways terrifying. Isn’t he the last person she should be talking to? Holding Felicity hostage, in addition to what he is doing already to Thea, seems to be the perfect way to ensure that Oliver does exactly what he wants in order to convince him to stay around in Nanda Parbat as the new Ra’s al Ghul.
The one thing we do know already is that the fabric of this series will never be the same again. After all, Roy Harper has now departed Starling City, and it is for that reason that the team is at a disadvantage. They’ve relied on his as a valuable contributor in the field, and at the moment Laurel is not anywhere closer to ready to being a worthy replacement. The same goes for Ray Palmer, and Diggle is better suited as a tactician than someone who goes into battle wearing a costume.
Ultimately, it should take a while for all of this to sort out, but it’s fair to say for now that “The Fallen” could be another game-changer.
