‘The X Factor’ UK: Olly Murs, Caroline Flack officially new co-hosts

Olly and Caroline -There is no longer any need for speculation at all in regards to who are the new hosts of “The X Factor” UK: It is now officially known to be Olly Murs and Caroline Flack. Granted, we don’t think there was ever really a whole lot of drama here. From the moment that Dermot O’Leary departed, it felt pretty obvious that the series had a succession plan in mind to bring two of the most popular personalities from “The Xtra Factor” years ago back in a more prominent role. The only issue ever was scheduling, given that Olly also does have quite the career as a pop star.

In a statement today, Olly had the following to say about getting the opportunity to join the series:

“I’m incredibly excited and proud to be returning to The X Factor alongside Caroline. I love the show and it kick-started my career in music which has given me the opportunity to do what I love. I already have the best job in the world and it’s about to get better – I can’t wait to get started and be part of finding some amazing new talent!”

Meanwhile, Flack (who has also appeared recently on “Strictly Come Dancing”) added the following:

“I’m beyond excited about presenting The X Factor with Olly. To have the privilege of doing this with someone who makes me laugh out loud is a massive bonus!”

The series returns with new episodes later this spring. Meanwhile, it was just revealed that the show will be coming back to America this year on AXS TV. Head over here to read some further news when it comes to that.
