‘Mistresses’ season 3 spoilers: ‘All My Children’ alum to guest

Mistresses -How about some more movement when it comes to “Mistresses” season 3? The fascinating thing about this particular story is that you have someone well known for being on a daytime soap now moving over and giving primetime a try.

Per a post on her Twitter account (see below), Chrishell Stauss will be appearing on the ABC series, which is entering some major changes in its third season thanks to both a new filming location in Vancouver and also a major cast change, as Jennifer Esposito is replacing Alyssa Milano as one of the main cast members. TVLine also adds that she will be playing a woman who spends some time with April after she decides to try out “hot yoga,” which to us just sounds like a bizarre combination of a sauna and exercise.

The third season of the show already has a premiere date, and even that is different in that it will be on Thursdays this time around rather than after “The Bachelorette.” Therefore, it will be even more at risk than ever before, given that the sweet lead-in is no longer going to be around.

Here’s another interesting little factoid when it comes to this show: Stauss and Justin Hartley are dating in real life, and he is also going to be returning to the series as Scott for at least two episodes this season. If you remember, he had a rather unfortunate situation (to say the least) when it comes to Joss at the end of the second season. He cannot be too pleased right now.
