‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 21 preview: Raj’s new mission; Penny seeks advice

Big Bang Theory -We are now definitely in the home stretch of “The Big Bang Theory” this season, and that leads to the characters raising some big questions when it comes to their careers. Raj gets an exciting new assignment; meanwhile, recent events have Penny wondering if making money is actually everything that matters when it comes to her own future.

1. Alphas, betas, and omegas – This introduces us to what will ultimately be the Raj storyline for the episode. He has been tasked with a pretty cool mission by NASA, and he wants to have some creative freedom to figure it out without Sheldon and Howard barking at him, telling him what to do. Unfortunately, what we learn further in watching this video is that neither he nor Leonard are really capable of leading a project themselves. Somewhat funny, and somewhat true.

2. Sheldon’s sing-along – There is basically nothing of actual consequence in this preview. Basically, someone from CBS or elsewhere thought it would be a good idea to make an entire preview out of Sheldon singing children’s songs inspired by science. It’s a silly little bit that will probably draw a few laughs during the episode.

3. Penny seeks out advice – Well, this is at least tied sort of into one of the main stories. After the Kevin Smith – podcast debacle last week, Penny is going to actually start to serious consider getting back into acting, even though she knows the risk and she makes a ton of money at her current job. This is where Sheldon enters the picture, otherwise known as the worst person for advice. Will these people ever learn?
