‘Big Brother Canada 3’ live feed spoilers: The state of things; our Player of the Week

Big Brother -This is the end of the first complete week in “Big Brother Canada 3,” and we’ve had a great time watching this one unfold from start to finish. What have we learned? Mostly, that Sindy with an S leaves nothing to the imagination when it comes to strategic play, even though she is a fighter and we respect her for that.

The live feeds have been down most of Wednesday (it happens often with this show), but we can tell you already a little of what is going to happen. Sindy is for now the consensus pick to leave, and while she tried to make some moves the past few days with Godfrey and Naeha, neither have the pull to change the vote in a particularly big way. She doomed herself almost from the beginning by making it clear that she had a big personality, that she was going to be flirty to try to manipulate people and that she is a big competitor in the game. If you want to do well in this game, you have to realize that this is a slow burn. You cannot go in right away with a mountain of energy and expect to not be a target.

Tonight’s Head of Household Competition is most likely going to be a memory game based on what we saw in the house Wednesday night, where the remaining players have to piece together what they say in the animal cartoons featuring quotes of theirs the night before. This is the sort of competition we could see someone like Naeha or Johnny winning, since some of the more strategic people in the Chop Shop are probably going to try to throw it. Right now, Graig, Godfrey, and Naeha are the three players in the most trouble. Graig’s abrasive, Godfrey stirs stuff up, and Naeha’s a huge threat.

So who is our inaugural recipient of the Player of the Week? It is a strange choice, but we’re going to have to go with Kevin! He entered this week with a big target on his back, and ended up being on the block. However, he used the information he overheard so effectively that he was able to secure a spot for himself even if one of the other guys won the Power of Veto in his place. He’s now in good with most of the men in the house, and the women have bigger fish to try. This award is not necessarily for the best player so far, since we may actually give that award to Zach. Jordan’s good, but he’s waving his superfan flag a little too much. (Kevin’s just made the biggest improvement since the last eviction.)
