‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 3 spoilers: A new enemy and a time jump

Fans of “Beauty and the Beast” have certainly become masters of exercising patience at the moment. There have not been any new episodes of the show since last summer, and you will also be waiting until May 21 to figure out what is going to happen next for Cat, Vincent, and the rest of your favorite characters.

So what can the show do right now to convince you that all of this is worth the wait? How about hype up a few stories here and there! Let’s start with this one, per TV Guide: When the show returns, two months will have passed since the events of season 2, and Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan’s characters are going to be in a far better place in their lives than they were back when Gabe was still terrorizing them. They’ve come to function in a more normal relationship … or at least one that is as normal as it can be given the circumstances. Their past is going to be their past, and this is a world where beasts exist.

The thing to remember here, though, is that there will only be peace for so long, given that there are many opponents that will need to be taken down. The same report also mentions that Jason Gedrick’s Liam is one particular person who will need to be watched out for in the episodes ahead. Side note: Is Liam suddenly the most obvious name on every TV show out there? It feels like we are seeing that one a whole lot lately.

For those of you VinCat ‘shippers, we wouldn’t worry too much: While there may be arguments, we have not gotten the sense that the idea for this season has to do with frequently splitting the two of them up.
