‘Arrow’ season 3, episode 18 video: Longer ‘Public Enemy’ promo sets up Captain Lance battle

Arrow -For the most part, the entire Lance family took a back seat during Wednesday night’s new “Arrow” episode “Suicidal Tendencies,” and for good reason. There was not a real reason for them to be deeply invested in that particular story given that the focus was mostly on the Suicide Squad, and also the showdown between Oliver Queen and Ray Palmer.

With this being said, there is a different sort of showdown set for next week’s “Public Enemy,” and it is one that will revolve heavily around Stephen Amell’s character and Captain Quentin Lance, who is still huffing and puffing over the death of his daughter. We don’t want to trivialize what happened to Sara; we understand why it was terrible for him, and also why he is having such a terrible time dealing with the lack of transparency given to him by his own daughter and the Arrow.

The extended promo below for this episode basically makes the entire extent of Lance’s manhunt very clear, as he seems desperate now to arrest the Arrow at almost any cost. While we know that his anger over Sara is what is driving him, public pressure probably makes matters worse. Everyone wants to blame someone for the recent killings in Starling City, and he is the easy suspect. He is not so keen on listening to Ray now, especially after what happened at the end of this past episode.

As for Felicity? Given that we know she is in an upcoming “Flash” crossover, it is pretty easy to assume that she makes it through to this episode in one piece.
