‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: Felicia Day to return this season

Felicia Day -You don’t have to wait very long at all to see more of Felicia Day on “Supernatural” this season. She’s already made one appearance, and it just turns out that she will also be back for “Book of the Damned,” the upcoming April 15 episode with a title that sounds like it could be one of “The Originals.” (How many episodes does that show have with the word “damned” in them? It at least seems like a lot.)

What makes this episode interesting to us is that most Charlie episodes have been one-shots not completely linked to the overall action of the season. They have been fun, but typically that is most of their staying power. This one could be different, given that it carries a potential lead in helping Dean to remove the Mark of Cain. Of course, there are still going to be many problems, and you’re going to have a possibly-hilarious road trip between Castiel and Metatron at the same time. Take a look at the episode’s synopsis:

“Charlie (guest star Felicia Day) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to tell them she found the Book of the Dead which could help remove the Mark of Cain. The Winchesters race to her after she tells them she’s been shot by a man named Jacob Styne (guest star Jeff Branson) who says the book belongs to his family and he won’t rest until he gets it back. Castiel (Misha Collins) and Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) take a road trip to find Castiel’s grace but they hit a couple road bumps along the way.”

The biggest takeaway here is that despite some of the craziness happening next week with Bobby’s return (watch the promo for it here), there is still not going to be anything that keeps the Mark from hanging over Dean. Then again, we’re not sure it will resolved here, either. This is the sort of thing that could remain until the end of the season, given its impact on the story right now and on Jensen’s character.
