‘Finding Carter’ season 2 spoilers: Check out the first three titles!

Ready to talk about titles? Well, “Finding Carter” is doing something similar to “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Hart of Dixie,” and this season of “The Vampire Diaries”: Naming their episodes after song titles! Some people may not like this move, but we’re a pretty big fan of it for one simple reason: It attaches something familiar to each episode, and also tells you a thing or two about the thematic content of the hour. Even though this is an MTV show, they are not going to just name an episode after a song just for the sake of doing so.

These titles were revealed earlier this week by SpoilerTV, and you should be aware that they could potentially change at some point before the season premieres on March 31. That does have a tendency to happen from time to time.

Episode 2×01, “Love the Way You Lie” – This is such a dark song to us, so we certainly expert there to be a dark episode to go along with it.

Episode 2×02, “Shut Up and Drive” – Isn’t this a good title for Carter potentially trying to escape again? Maybe that is just how we picture it in our brain. It is interesting, and probably coincidental, that the first two episodes both involve Rihanna in some way.

Episode 2×03, “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” – This is not the first episode of a show to use this title, but we understand the appeal. Also, Taylor Swift is right within the show’s target demo.
