‘The Flash’ spoilers: Official details on Peyton List’s debut, Captain Cold’s return

You knew that Captain Cold was going to be returning to “The Flash” eventually, judging from the cliffhanger that we had for “Revenge of the Rogues” earlier in the season. The question was just when, and what his endgame was going to be when he arrived.

We can at least answer one of those questions right now: You’ll be seeing Wentworth Miller again on March 24, and he will have company not just with Dominic Purcell, but also his Peyton List of “The Tomorrow People” fame. She’ll be playing Lisa Snart, who is known in the comics as the Golden Glider. There’s no word just yet on if she is known as anything within the world of the show. “Rogue Time” is the name of the episode featuring these characters, and you can take a look at the synopsis below:

“The Flash (Grant Gustin) learns that Captain Cold (guest star Wentworth Miller) and Heat Wave (guest star Dominic Purcell) have returned to Central City. This time Snart has brought along his baby sister Lisa (guest star Peyton List) to help wreak havoc on the city.”

The biggest thing that is interesting to us about Captain Cold now is the knowledge that he’s one of the characters supposedly featured in the “Superhero Team-up” pilot that could be on TV in the fall. With that in mind, we have zero clue what the show wants to do with him. Do they try to redeem him and turn him into a hero, or use Heat Wave and his sister to try and form some sort of mass criminal organization? Time will tell, but this episode could be a clue, especially if this ends up being the last time we see him this season.
