‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: Katrina Law on Nyssa’s new journey

Arrow -After last week’s stunning episode of “Arrow,” it is very easy to remind fixated on events from Oliver Queen’s perspective. After all, how can you not be when you remember that he was given the keys to Ra’s al Ghul’s kingdom?

While all of this is supremely interesting, you also have to consider here how Nyssa feels about all of this. She believed for the longest time that she was Heir to the Demon, and her training would lead to her eventually rising to that title. With that offer going to Oliver instead, she is extremely dangerous. Why? As Katrina Law shares to IGN, she now is not entirely sure what she wants to do with her life:

“I think Nyssa’s journey, going forward, is going to be really interesting just because she was so dead set on who she was, what she was going to be, how she laid out her future for herself. Then everything has been thrown up in the air. She no longer is Heir to the Demon and she no longer has her love, who I’m sure she was thinking about keeping around forever. Essentially, at this point in the story, she’s lost everything and I think for the first time in her life, she is vulnerable and she feels weak and she feels useless and doesn’t know where she stands or who she is at the moment and I think it’s very jarring for her because she’s never had to go through that ever, in any capacity in her life before so I think you’re going to see Nyssa trying to figure out who she is and what she stands for now.”

Could Nyssa end up becoming a big bad now that she doesn’t have the title or Sara? We wouldn’t go that far, but we know her story this season is far from over. Therefore, be prepared for some potential drama moving forward here. If we were Oliver, we’d definitely be worried.
