‘The Flash’ spoilers: How will Wentworth Miller appear as Captain Cold?

Flash -To the producers of “Arrow” and “The Flash“: This is what happens when we are left to our own devices when it comes to a story as significant as a potential spin-off being reported, and then left out in the cold. It’s been a few days since it was first reported that a “Superhero Team-Up” story is coming, and we still have no clue what it means.

Yesterday, we wrote a piece detailing why Robbie Amell needs to be on the show, mostly because it makes zero sense for there to be Victor Garber and not the other half of Firestorm to go along with him. Today, we tackle yet another burning question when it comes to the project: How is Captain Cold a superhero? Through his two major appearances on “The Flash,” this guy has been nothing more than a (fittingly) cold and calculated villain. He wants to kill the Flash, but to go along that, he also wants money seemingly more than anything else. We don’t really get the impression that world domination is as important to him as it is with some other villains.

Could he potentially turn to the good side? We have a hard time imagining that he would suddenly be happy to save lives. With that being said, maybe he could be turned into some sort of Suicide Squad sort of character with the right motivation, such as something happening to his sister Lisa (Peyton List) or his sidekick Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell).

One other thought: Maybe you have a league of villains competing against the league of heroes, and he is one of the notable foes. As nervous as we are about this idea (which also features Brandon Routh and Caity Lotz), there is potential for it to be totally cool.
