‘The X Factor’ UK star Andrew Faustini signs record deal

Andrea -Good news for all of those who loved Andrea Faustini during this past season of “The X Factor“: You could be seeing a whole lot more of him in the future. It has been confirmed that the Italian singer, who finished in third place in the British competition this past season, has inked a brand-new record deal with RCA. This is going to allow him with the opportunity to record a variety of new music at some point in the future. We knew already that fellow finalists Ben Haenow and Fleur East were going to get a chance to perform a song on their own.

In a statement that was released earlier this week about this deal, Faustini himself had the following to say:

“Only a year ago I was a normal student in Italy with a dream to sing … Thanks to the UK public my dream is about to become a reality and I can’t wait to work with RCA and show everyone what I can do.”

The great news here is that the majority of the music is supposed to be original, which is great when you think about the number of former contestants from the British talent competition who are told to record albums of covers by their label. This is actually what Sam Bailey had for her debut album, and when she and Syco went their separate ways, one of the things that she was looking forward to doing was getting the chance to go off and record some of her own original music.
