‘Madam Secretary’ episode 14 spoilers: More on Tea Leoni’s Elizabeth, her staff

Madam Secretary -It may have been a wait of more than a month for new episodes of “Madam Secretary” to premiere on CBS, but the show is really going to do its part to prove that it was all worth it. The next three episodes will all have elements of trying to solve what happened to Secretary Marsh, in addition to another shocking death that is haunting Elizabeth in particular.

With this said, there is going to be more going on in this story beyond that. Specifically, you can look forward to seeing on Sunday night’s new episode a chance to see Tea Leoni’s character actually interact more with some of the individuals who work in conjunction with her office. As executive producer Lori McCreary tells TVLine in a new interview, there is going to be some interesting dynamics that go along with this:

“What we’re featuring in Episode 14, because it felt like the right time to do this, is her relationship with her staff. We set up in the pilot that she inherited them, and now we’re midway in the season, it’s like, ‘What is her relationship with them? Are they her people?’ [Guest star] Kevin Rahm (Mad Men) is someone who comes in from the outside as a really seasoned voice of Washington to challenge Elizabeth on how she’s proceeding, putting all of her policies and principles under a spotlight. He comes in as the voice of reason with an edge and a sense of humor.”

Any chance see Rahm is something that we are happy with. Not only that, but we are also thrilled to see a little more of just her entire team in general. This is a part of Washington that is easy to overlook, but very fun to explore with the remaining stretch of episodes.
