‘Girls’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Will Hannah find success as a teacher?

“Girls” is going to return with another new episode Sunday night, and this marks a chance to really see a very new side of Hannah … and it is one that we actually are fond of on paper. For so long, many of her choices have been fairly selfish, and she has found a way to self-sabotage many opportunities that have fallen into her life.

Therefore, it is probably understandable if you are a little bit nervous to see how she is going to be as a teacher. She is never the best at listening to the opinions of others, but the good thing about teaching is that her opinion matters most of all. Also, she can mold the minds of young people, and feel like she is actually helping and contributing to society.

Ultimately, teaching could lead to a healthy Hannah. She would be able to really spend her days at this institution (it must be a private school, since she doesn’t really have any credentials to be a teacher otherwise and certain private schools have different qualifications), and she can then go ahead and spend her nights writing or doing anything else that pleases her. Being around so many people could be a great inspiration for more work.

With this being said, one thing that she does have to figure out a little bit of right now is whether or not she will ultimately be comfortable here. Hannah has proven time and time again a complete willingness to get in her own way.
