‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 13 preview: Ed Asner stars in new sneak peek

Good Wife -Ed Asner is going to be making a guest appearance on “The Good Wife” Sunday night as Guy Redmayne, an important campaign donor who may be essential to Alicia Florrick finding a way to become State’s Attorney. However, it is becoming more and more clear that there is something that could get in the way of this happening: His own personality coupled with Alicia’s own desire to continue to put up with some of his antics.

Basically, it doesn’t appear that she really wants to. In the sneak peek below, we get a sense of who Guy really is, and one word to describe him almost right away is “dismissive.” He really does not appear to be all that interested in hearing about some of Alicia’s campaign vows, including how she hopes to do almost everything that she can in order to lower the murder rate and expedite trials to get criminals put away.

Instead, he cares more about “family values.” He asks first and foremost how long she has been married, and she proceeds to tell him over two decades. Technically, you still have to remember that she and Peter are together on paper … even if that is fairly hard to picture sometimes. Then, he proceeds to touch her hand in a very creepy way. This is obviously a guy looking for something more than just information on who he should donate to.

The moment that he starts to compliment her legs, Alicia really should just bolt out of there. We have to wait until this episode airs to figure out if she does.
