Good news for the happy couple.

Mrs. Carter: Sometimes, you can find love on reality TV — and two past contestants on “The Biggest Loser” have now managed to do something that only a small percentage of “Bachelor” couples do in make it down the aisle.

Sam Poueu and Stephanie Anderson were surely not going on the NBC show to find love when the episodes first aired in spring 2010, but they started dating within a few weeks at the ranch, and soon after that got into a serious relationship. Overall, the two lost more than 240 pounds between them despite neither party winning, and they returned to the ranch in October so that Sam could get down on one knee and propose.

The couple’s wedding on Saturday turned out to be quite a celebration. According to Us Weekly, there were a whopping 27 people in the bridal party, and the ceremony was held at the same church that Stephanie’s parents were married in 39 years ago.

There is one other bit of new here that makes this wedding even more special — that it is coming just seven months after Sam was left clinging to his life after falling over 55 feet off of his friend’s roof. As a result, the aspiring personal trainer had to undergo a rigorous three-month recovery in order to get back into normal health.

Are you happy for these two? You can catch the season finale of the “The Biggest Loser” Tuesday night on NBC.
