‘Game of Thrones’ season 5 spoilers: The best George R.R. Martin tease ever?

Game of Thrones -Just in case you were not excited enough to see “Game of Thrones” season 5, we now present you with this: “There will be more killing. There will be more dying. There will be another wedding, there’ll be some battles, there’ll be more dragons.” That is a tease that A Song of Ice and Fire author George R.R. Martin gave to E! News, and while we cannot speak for you, we definitely feel at the moment like there are quite a few reasons to be excited here.

Obviously, there is one word that stands out here above all other: Wedding. Anytime you have that on “Game of Thrones,” there is almost always one thing that follows it: Trouble, and generally death. It’s hard to imagine anything else.

Who is the most likely candidate to be wed? That’s complicated, since Tommen is so young. He would otherwise be at the top of the priority list. Elsewhere, there are not many other romances going on. Sansa doesn’t really love Littlefinger, but he’s already shown to have a certain “attachment” to her. Meanwhile, Dany doesn’t strike us as the sort of person who needs to be married to anyone.

What remains exciting about season is that we are getting closer to staring into what is in some ways the abyss. Few know what happens beyond the end of Martin’s fifth book, and while the show may not venture into The Winds of Winter much this season, it’s possible that you could get a hint or two through the way that things are presented on the show.
