‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4, episode 6 review: Did George, AnnaBeth admit their feelings?

Alabama Boys -Tonight’s new episode of “Hart of Dixie” was entitled “Alabama Boys,” and this particular installment wasted almost no time in giving you its first major development: Zoe and Wade are expecting a baby boy! For some reason or another, this is not something that she ever expected, and it caused her to change her mind about almost everything, including what kind of mother she would be. While she may be able to raise a city boy, would she really be able to handle a little version of Wade? This was a big challenge for her.

The learning experience here for Wade came in trying to “educate” a teenager who was dating Magnolia, and was basically a young version of him. Let’s just say that this didn’t go that well, at least at first. These two are absolutely terrified of their future, but at least they feel better prepared to take on these troubles for now.

While Wade and Zoe did have a story to tell this week, much of the story tonight still did revolve around some of the other characters. AnnaBeth and Lavon had to pretend to be together in order to try to get a State Championship Game in BlueBell, which was a great way to raise a little bit of extra money and create jobs. Of course, this was not as easy as it seemed … namely, we are talking here about George getting jealous.

If there is one big positive that comes out of this, it is seeing that these two at least have finally admitted to having feelings now. This is a major step in the right direction! Also, AB decided to tell Lemon that she should just go ahead and be with the Mayor, since everyone knew that they still had feelings for each other.

“Alabama Boys” wasn’t our favorite episode of the show, but at the same time, it did move the story forward a good deal, and getting some of the couples together now is a positive sign. Grade: B.
