Is ‘The Good Wife’ season 6, episode 13 new tonight? Return date, castings, more

It’s understandable to continuously wonder when “The Good Wife” is coming back, so don’t worry: We’re going to be there for you. There may not be a new episode airing on CBS tonight, but we at least have some further information here. Think of these Sunday articles during the hiatus (the show returns on March 1) as a way to get all of the news that you may have missed throughout the week.

Since there is probably not going to be a press release or photos from the upcoming episodes for at least another week or two, let’s talk castings! As we reported recently, you can expect to see more of Gary Cole (“Veep”) when the show returns as Diane’s other half. It’s been a while since he has turned up, and it will be nice to see how her life away from the office has evolved as of late.

Also, another report came out saying that “Fargo” alum Oliver Platt has snagged an important part as a conservative businessman.

Let’s end this casting article by talking a little about some new updates. Per E! News, we are going to see more of Rachael Harris through the coming episodes. Also, the legendary Ed Asner of “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” will be making at least one appearance in March.

None of this casting scoop should come as much of a surprise, given that “The Good Wife” routinely manages to attract some of the best guest stars in the business. This is ultimately what happens when you have such quality writing, and a legacy of big audiences.
