‘The Flash’ episode 12 spoilers: First look at Malese Jow’s Linda Park!

When “The Flash” airs its next new episode on The CW next week, love (or at least something kind of like love) could be a theme. Specifically here, we are talking in terms of Barry Allen’s attempts to move forward with his life. He is going to start to finally realize that there is not necessarily a whole lot of value in waiting around to be with Iris West, given that she is spending the majority of her time these days with Eddie Thawne.

This episode, entitled “Crazy For You,” is going to feature the debut of Linda Park on the show. Malese Jow (“The Vampire Diaries“) plays the character, who is a news reporter. This is a part that does come from the DC Comics, and there is a little bit of history there.

While we have no idea how long Linda is going to stick around for, we assume that one of the functions is going to be for us to really see how Barry actually functions in a real relationship. While there were some sparks between him and Felicity Smoak, there was never anything there that was fully a relationship. Meanwhile, he only recently told Iris.

Of course, another facet of this story will be getting the opportunity to see how Iris ends up taking the news. She seems happy and perfectly fine in the photo above, but is she going to really stay that way the entirety of this episode? We’ll have to see. She has never been confronted with this issue before.
