‘The Walking Dead’ season 5 spoilers: Another new teaser on ‘action,’ ‘tears’

Fans of “The Walking Dead,” now should be the time to get excited. After all, we are only a solid week and five days away from the show’s return to AMC! Maybe it has been due to the holidays or due to the variety of other programming out there, but it feels almost like the wait went by a little bit quicker than it has in years past. Maybe we are just imagining this.

Regardless of how fast or slow time has felt for you, there is a lot to look forward to! For more evidence of this, take a look at how executive producer Gale Ann Hurd tells E! News that “there will be a lot of action, there will be a few tears, and we’ll be seeing an entirely new aspect of the world that we’ve seen thus far. That’s something that I think the comic book fans are especially looking forward to.”

Ultimately, this feels like one of those teases that is probably better suited to this who have read the comics. Then again, even if you have not, we still feel like there is quite a bit to appreciate and look forward to with the show just from the standpoint of seeing what happens now, especially since we have so much of the hope stripped away with Beth gone and with Eugene’s plan a scam.

For those curious, Hurd has also been on set for the upcoming spin-off show that is filming, and says that “it’s going great. It’s another way to examine how the zombie apocalypse affects families, and we’re coming at it from an entirely different direction and we’re examining families in Los Angeles.”
