‘Gotham’ spoilers: Meet the series’ Dollmaker!

Who knew that the Dollmaker would be such a popular villain on television shows these days? Last year, we saw a version of this nefarious foe on “Arrow,” and now, “Gotham” is getting set to introduce their own unique version.

According to a report from Deadline, “The Borgias” alum Colin Feore has been cast as Dr. Francis Dulmacher, who goes by that aforementioned alter ego. He is a known villain, whose attributes for the most part include capturing up street children. He was referenced early on in the series by Selina Kyle, but the show has not fully gone in-depth just yet into what exactly this guy does or what his endgame is. Even still, we imagine that it will be at least fairly similar.

We’re interested to see the show’s version of the character, and while we’ve already seen a Dollmaker, it’s still nice to see that this show is finding a way to incorporate some Batman villains here and there. With that being said, we really don’t want the Joker or some of the other major villains not in the show suddenly featured here. We don’t necessarily need to have Batman chasing after and old-man gang at some point down the road.

The next new episode of “Gotham” airs on Fox Monday night, but it will probably be several weeks until we ultimately see this character surface on the show. Until that point, stay tuned. We’ll have some further updates as they start to come out on the characters and much more!
