‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Mayim Bialik talks show success at SAG Awards

Shamy -While we have not had too many opportunities as of late to preview “The Big Bang Theory” due to there not being many new episodes on the air as of late, we did get a Mayim Bialik sighting Sunday! The actress was one of many notable people present at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, and she walked the red carpet for the E! pre-show.

While most of the questions that these red carpet shows ask are pretty bland (they have to be, since their audience won’t always know specifics), Bialik did have a very nice answer when asked what it is about her show that she feels has led to it having such a long life:

“I think it’s the writers … They’ve created characters with a lot of depth. We have a lot of characters on our show, it’s a deep cast … We hang out together, we have a beautiful camaraderie, and I hope that comes across.”

Obviously, we hope that these people all continue to get along, since they are going to be working with one another quite a while longer. The show has already been renewed by CBS through its tenth season, which means at least two more years after this one.

“The Big Bang Theory” remains the #1 comedy on TV by a pretty wide margin, and in addition to being a huge hit on CBS, it is probably the #1 syndicated comedy out there that is still at the same time currently airing new episodes.
