‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 11 spoilers: Will Meredith go off an visit Derek?

“Grey’s Anatomy” season 11 definitely ended the fall portion of its season on a somewhat-surprising note, given that we ended up seeing Derek decide to go to Washington DC after spending most of it guilt-tripping both himself and his wife Meredith over the decisions that he had made.

So what could end up happening now that he is away? While Shonda Rhimes has already said that it is very well possible that we are not going to see Patrick Dempsey on the show for a while, it does at least appear like Ellen Pompeo’s character is going to try and see him. The upcoming 11th episode of this season is entitled “All I Could Do Was Cry,” and if you look below, you can see just what to expect (per SpoilerTV):

“Meredith looks for a sitter so she can go visit Derek; Amelia and Stephanie work together on a case.”

You should look at this short synopsis as another dose of evidence that Meredith and Derek are at least going to try to make things work. Whether or not they are going to be able to remains to be seen, but this is very much a step in the right direction.
