‘The Fosters’ season 2, episode 13 video: What does Wyatt’s return mean for Callie?

The Fosters -Monday night’s new episode of “The Fosters” looks to be a pretty big one, especially if you are one of those people who still ‘ships Callie and Wyatt (and we know you’re out there!). With that being said, the guy certainly is not doing a whole lot in the new sneak peek below to convince her that he is ideal boyfriend material at the moment.

Instead, what he is really doing is convincing everyone that he is a little bit of a tool. She shows up, questions whether or not he is trying to get kicked out of school, and he responds in a very standoffish manner. Then, he also takes offense with the notion that Callie and the end of their time together may somehow be the reason for all of the problems in his life. Not really the smoothest moves we’ve ever seen.

Do we think that Wyatt’s attitude is going to change at some point? We’d count on it, since it seems to be completely terrible to have him remain this sour for the entire season – who wants to watch that? What this really is to us is just a reminder that there are a few characters going through a variety of different problems, and not all of them are going to be easy to solve. We are more then fine with this since it helps us appreciate the wins when they happen, but if you are a viewer that wants immediate gratification then you may be disappointed with this storyline right now.

For Callie, what she ultimately has to figure out here is if she wants to use her present situation as an excuse to give in to some of the negativity, or try to make the best of what she is. In the end, that choice is hers and we are sure that fans will support her either way.
