‘The Bachelor’: Chris Soules responds to ‘Saturday Night Live’ spoof

Chris Soules -Anytime that you are made fun of on a show like “Saturday Night Live,” there are typically a handful of ways that you can respond. You can be somewhat thrilled at the notion that someone actually had enough interest in you to poke fun at you, or you can be a stick in the mud and get annoyed about it. Sometimes the imitations are not always the best either, but they still get an “A” for effort.

Luckily, Chris Soules of “The Bachelor” has a pretty good sense of humor about it, much like Justin Bieber did when the show ripped him over his Calvin Klein commercials that aired last week (and if you haven’t seen it we highly recommend that you check it out because it’s brilliant). Chris posted the simple comment on Twitter while watching the show, and if you have not seen the “Farm Hunk” parody just yet, you can do so below.

To be fair, Chris didn’t have a whole lot to be offended about, especially compared to Bieber. The purpose of this sketch was mostly to commentate about some of the women and the way in which the show traditionally does things. The only somewhat-biting thing the show said was that the black women have no real shot of winning, and Leslie Jones even joked that two weeks seemed like “her time.” (The one black contestant on Chris’ season in Amber lasted three weeks.)

Our favorite parts of the sketch mostly involved the constants stealing of Chris back and forth by the women, and also some of the other jokes that came about when it comes to the way contestants’ narratives are presented. For example, the woman who went through tragedy, or the women who kept delivering random gifts. Everything was surprisingly accurate, and all host Blake Shelton really had to do was sit there.
