‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Chris Soules sees (many) wedding dresses

Chris Soules may want to get married as a result of what happens on “The Bachelor” this season, but we have a hard time thinking that he expected to see so many wedding dresses during the season itself!

We’ve given many teases for this new episode Monday already using some snippets from the official ABC press release, this one may do the best job of all when it comes to setting up the final group date, and a pretty ridiculous race in San Francisco that really tests how willing the ladies are to embarrass themselves on TV. The silver lining here? There is much more of a purpose for this run than meets the eye:

“It’s off to San Francisco for Chris and six bachelorettes for the last group date. Dressed in wedding gowns, the women have to complete a difficult mud run with the losers going home and the winner spending a romantic night with Chris. Just so happens the winner is a frontrunner in the race for the Bachelor’s heart, and she leaves the other five women in the dust. An amorous mood is set at dinner overlooking the glittering city by the bay, and Chris has a chance to find out about another side of this stunning beauty. Will she capture his heart or leave without a rose?”

This season seems to be doing more of the half-and-half dates. What we mean by this is that we’re getting to see a group date, and then a winner who gets to go on and have a one-on-one portion. Personally, we prefer this, since the one-on-ones on their own are a little dull.
