‘The Good Wife’ season 6 spoilers: Could Jill Flint return before Archie Panjabi leaves?

Kalinda -Earlier this season, we first found out the news that this sixth season of “The Good Wife” is the last for longtime regular Archie Panjabi. As you would imagine, this is not the easiest news in the world to swallow.

However, maybe it is possible that there could be some more notable guest stars stopping by to help send the character off. While there is no confirmation that Jill Flint is one of them, the star of NBC’s “The Night Shift” has no problem making it clear that she would love to turn at least one more appearance as Lana.

Speaking to TVLine, Flint said that she would want to return, and also made it clear that there have been plans for her to have longer arcs on the show that have just fallen through:

“There are a lot of fans who hope that that would happen – which makes me happy … For a couple of seasons, [The Good Wife has] tried to give me an extensive arc with Archie, but unfortunately… we’re like ships in the night. We’ve never been able to fully realize it.”

In a way, we feel like this is a microcosm for the Kalinda character as a whole lately. She’s been making the same number of appearances as always, but it feels as though her story never fully been integrated really over the past season and a half. It’s almost that everything became very difficult from the moment that the Florrick / Agos story really began.

“The Good Wife” should return with more new episodes in March.
