‘American Horror Story’ season 5: Still too early to tell on Jessica Lange’s future

For those of you starting to write off Jessica Lange on “American Horror Story” season 5, it may still be too soon to do that.

Yesterday, we shared that a cryptic message from show creator Ryan Murphy on Twitter certainly suggested that it could be the end of the road soon for the longtime series star, who has been a part of the proceedings from the very beginning. While we still would lean to her leaving the show, mostly because Murphy’s tweet is not something he has posted in past seasons, there are still a few reasons to think that anything could still happen in regards to her job status.

For example, a new report from E! News states that there are no firm decisions on anything for season 5, and there is still time for Lange to make her decisions. Some of the castings for the stars may happen within the coming months, but it will not be until spring before anyone actually starts to see scripts.

One other thing to remember here is that it is still very well possible that Lange could be a part of the series once again, but in a very different way than she has been in the past. for example, why not just be part of a small handful of episodes rather than all thirteen? she has options, and we feel reasonably confident that she is going to exercise some of them moving into the next several weeks before decision time hits.
