Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 13 new tonight? First photo

Big Bang Theory -The Big Bang Theory” has been reasonably light on new episodes so far in 2015, and there is one particular reason for that: There are only 24 episodes a season, and therefore, there is only so many weeks that can have new episodes. If you remember that there were two that aired back-to-back for the premiere, that really means just 23 days.

While the show may remain in repeats tonight on CBS, have no fear: More good stuff is coming very soon! The thirteenth episode entitled “The Anxiety Optimization” is airing on CBS next week, and we have the first photo of it right now. If you missed some of the recent scoop on the story, part of this episode will revolve around Sheldon’s sudden belief that in order to make the true scientific breakthroughs that he wants, he needs to suffer more. Therefore, he asks for a little bit of help from his friends.

Basically, this episode sounds very much like it is going to be Leonard’s dream come true. After all, how many times has the man hoped for an opportunity to mess with Sheldon in new, creative ways? The answer to that is “many, many times,” and it will probably continue even after this episode is over.

There is nothing on the surface here that suggests that anything of substance will happen that changes the long-term future of the series, but who knows? We have definitely been surprised a number of times in the future.

One last pleasant reminder we’ll give you here is that there are more new episodes airing throughout the month of February. Therefore, this is not the only one to get excited about!
