ABC’s ‘Castle’ season 7 spoilers: First Stana Katic – Nathan Fillion ‘I, Witness’ photo

Are Castle and Beckett going to be spending time together on case soon? It seems that way, at least based on the first photo from the “Castle” episode “I, Witness” airing on ABC Monday night.

In this attached image, you can see Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion working together at a scene, but we would not exactly call them partners. Rick is still working as a private eye. What ends up bringing them together is that after being hired by a woman to investigate her husband (who she suspects of cheating), he then witnesses the husband seemingly murdering her. However, he needs some sort of additional evidence to go along with it, and that is where the NYPD comes into play.

This is hardly the first episode that Castle has cried “murder” during, but at the same time, we don’t really mind. We always love seeing Rick in a position where he has to convince others, largely because we do really enjoy the whole “boy who cried wolf” vibe to his character. Plus, he comes up with so many crazy theories that only a small percentage of them are actually believable.

By the end of this episode, maybe we will have a better sense of where Rick’s private-eye business is really going. After all, the one that follows this is seemingly the big one, which could feature the return of Annie Wersching and at least one other familiar face, as well. Sooner or later, you knew that the 3XK storyline was going to be returning, right? We’ll have more on that soon.
