Is ‘NCIS’ season 12, episode 13 new tonight? What we know about ‘We Build, We Fight’

If you enjoy and appreciate “NCIS,” then what we have for you today is probably not going to qualify as great news: There is not going to be a new episode of the show airing tonight on CBS. Of course, there is a plenty good reason for it in the State of the Union Address, and that always takes precedence over anything else on the four major broadcast networks.

Unfortunately, there is even more bad news for you that stretches beyond that, and it is rather simple: There’s not a new episode airing next week, either. You are going to have to wait to see the continuation of the series on the network until Tuesday, February 3 with “We Build, We Fight.”

What is going to transpire in this hour? Luckily, we already know at least a little bit about it. This is going to be the big episode directed by cast member Rocky Carroll, and based on some of what we’ve heard so far, the show will once again tackle some important issues. We don’t sense that this story will be as action-packed as we’ve seen in recent weeks, but that does not make it any less important.

This episode will be a jumping-off point for a series of new ones that air throughout the month. One of the reasons why there is no new episode airing right now is simply because we are waiting for the February sweeps to arrive, where there will be quite a few in succession to help boost network ratings.
