‘Scorpion’ season 1, episode 15 review: Is Paige moving Ralph to Portland?

This has been a great week for “Scorpion” fans – not only did we get a brand new episode of the show last night, but we are getting another one tonight! Also we finally saw some romantic movement from Paige towards Walter after she had a sexual dream about him, but will it be enough to keep her from moving to Portland with Drew? She wants what’s best for Ralph, but when feelings are involved we don’t always think logically.

Drew is getting information for gifted schools together for Ralph just in case Paige decides to come with him to Portland. When Walter finds out that Ralph and Paige might be leaving, he tries to tell her that Portland is cold and wet… when she pushes for more information Walter says that moving Ralph so far from his life at this point when he’s become so integrated into their lives isn’t fair.  Paige counters saying that having two parents is better then one, but Walter claims that it takes more then biology to be a parent (and Drew really hasn’t been around for much of Ralph’s life to be fair).

Happy weighs in on the Portland move saying that she thinks Ralph will be bored there and Paige gets defensive. So is she going to make the move or are we going to have to wait a little longer to find out her decision? After the case of the week shakes up Walter a bit he has a different perspective on Portland, giving Paige some positive information about the possible move. He admits that he cares a lot for Ralph and feels that he has given Walter a lot in the past few months, making him a better person. He ends the conversation by saying that he cares for Paige as well and she admits that she’d miss him too. The clincher is when Ralph tells Paige that he’s been invited to a party and she realizes that the social aspect of his life is expanding – something she wasn’t sure would happen for him.

Watching Robert Patrick go all Terminator 2 and jump that car was easily the best part of the episode, because as always, he’s a total boss. Also, we don’t want to see Paige and Drew together, so please don’t make this happen. Episode grade: C+
