‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: Is a serial killer potentially on the way?

How about this for a small, but very impactful, bit of news in regards to “Bones“? If you really enjoy it when the show unleashes major villains upon you, we imagine that you’ll be very pleased to know that the producers seemingly have plans for this very thing coming up during the second half of the season debuting this March.

Speaking out in a new story per TVLine, show star Emily Deschanel hints that “there’s a possible serial killer” story coming up soon. What’s the translation for that? Basically, that there will be a story that makes Booth and Brennan question if a new killer exists. This is something that the show needs; while there have been challenges since the death of Pelant, no one has been on that same level of villain. The biggest letdown of all was probably the Ghost Killer, who had an awesome name but flamed out really quickly.

This report also hints at a major story coming in terms of Arastoo, where it looks like he will be going back to Iran for a time to care for his ill brother. What’s the twist there? Basically, that it could be a strain on his relationship with Cam. The two clearly care for one another, but when he ends up becoming a political prisoner in the country, can they survive both the distance and the stress? We’re just going to have to wait and see on that.

Ultimately, our biggest takeaway from all of this great “Bones” scoop at the moment is rather simple: There’s a lot to love coming up, regardless of if you watch the show for comedy, drama, mystery, or something else entirely (though we don’t know quite what that something else could be).
