Fifth Harmony perform ‘Sledgehammer’ on Pitbull’s Fox New Year’s Eve special

Fifth Harmony -Let’s face it: Fox’s attempt to launch a New Year’s Eve show with Pitbull is a little all over the place. No doubt that the guy’s a mogul, but he is also a questionable TV host.

If there is one thing that Fifth Harmony fans should nonetheless be thankful about, it is that this show offered them up a chance to hit the stage and perform. Below, you can see a clip of the ladies singing “Sledgehammer,” their latest single that was getting some solid airplay before the holidays. Obviously, this is a nice bit of promotion for them, especially since it shows that Fox is still somewhat loyal despite the American version of “The X Factor” being canceled almost a year ago.

At the moment, we’re expecting to see and hear from Fifth Harmony quite a bit in 2015. They have a new album that is dropping pretty early in the year, and that typically means one thing: A massive promotional tour! They are also probably going to have further opportunities to travel around the world and meet their fans, who are global despite them being known first from an American talent competition.

Some of the other guests on this particular New Year’s Eve special include Enrique Iglesias and Fall Out Boy, which is further proof that Fox is trying to cover as many different genres as they possibly can in a short amount of time.
