‘The Flash’ spoilers: Grant Gustin films final scene of 2014!
It is pretty fair to say at the moment that 2014 has been pretty awesome to Grant Gustin. While he knew last year that he was going to be starring on “The Flash,” this is the first year that he actually got to play the superhuman side of his character. Also, this was when the show became the biggest hit on The CW in years, and he got a chance to really see the fan reaction to this super-fun story of Barry Allen.
This weekend, Gustin officially wrapped filming for the year, and he had quite the sentimental message to share as a result. In a post on Instagram, the actor had the following to say while sharing a photo:
“Just shot my last scene of 2014. I’m unbelievably grateful for this show, this cast, crew & our whole team. We came out of the gates running thanks to all of the fans too. Thank you thank you thank you. Merry Xmas & Happy New Year to everyone!.”
There is definitely much more to come for Gustin in 2015, given that Barry’s story is only beginning now that he has faced off for the first time against Reverse Flash. He has many more episodes still to film, and then an inevitable second season. (It has not been renewed yet, but we’re sure that it will.) Also, we imagine that he could be pretty active on the convention circuit, due to the show’s popularity.
