‘The Walking Dead’ season 5, episode 9: Norman Reedus, teases, more in AMA

Daryl -We’ll start this “Walking Dead” article once again here with the obvious: There is no new episode coming on AMC tonight. The show will be off the air until Sunday, February 8, but that is not stopping us from continuing to hand out a few more teases all about what is coming up.

Today, we are here reporting about series star Norman Reedus, and the Ask Me Anything (AMA) that he conducted on Reddit this weekend in order to promote his shirt sale for The Felix Organization, a charity benefiting children in the foster care system. Reedus talked about a variety of different subjects, but we’ve compiled some of his best answers below in relation to the show’s future. (Note that we copied these over from the AMA, hence the all lower-case typing.)

On how he thinks the show will progress following Beth’s death – “i think that was pretty devastating for the whole group daryl included. its kind of like real life you always think you have more time with people.”

On the possibility of Daryl and Carol getting together – “i like where daryls going i really do . its interesting . the ups and downs the back and forths . love story i dunno never say never .carol and daryl are pretty close and respect each other and have each others backs.”

On if he thought he would still be alive on the show – “i didn’t to be honest. it was such a well written script i just wanted to be involved in any way possible for however long they would have me around.”

For those curious, Reedus said that one of his favorite episodes is “The Grove,” the season 4 installment which may happen to also be our favorite of the entire series. Melissa McBride and Chad Coleman completely kill it with the storytelling there.
