ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4 spoilers: A super-cryptic Kerry Washington tease

Given how rare it is that we receive any “Scandal” teases at all during the season, we really do feel an extra sense of excitement any time that Kerry Washington actually shares an interesting tease on social media.

If you look below, Kerry made it clear that she got to do something today while playing her popular character of Olivia Pope that she has not done in a long time. Then, there was something that she was doing for the very first time. Obviously, the door is open here for rampant speculation, since there is almost anything and everything that could happen here.

So what could this be? Obviously, one theory is that this involves Olivia and Fitz, but another one is going to be that maybe she gets to do something else to show just how important she is in this world.

“Scandal” is going to return with all-new episodes starting up on Thursday, January 29, and there are many stories that will be coming along the way. One of the biggest things to expect is seeing how in the world Olivia is going to make it through her kidnapping. This is an epic cliffhanger for the show, and it leaves us in a very precarious position moving into the second half of the season.

Hopefully, Olivia will spend a few episodes in at least some sort of danger, and it is not really because we want to see her that way. It is mostly due to her being a character who needs these moments to shine.
