‘Two and a Half Men’ season 12 spoilers: Is there hope for Alan, Lyndsey?

It begins -Did you really think that the “romance” was really over for Alan and Lyndsey on “Two and a Half Men“? They are TV’s ultimate trainwreck, and they cannot seem to stay away from each other for some reason.

The last we saw Courtney Thorne-Smith on the show, she was playing a drunk, unfiltered version of the character, who passed out after trying to take some of her clothes off while Walden and Alan were trying to impress their social worker (Maggie Lawson). Well, she is going to return in the January 8 episode entitled “Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy, Lyndsey,” which is going to make it all the clearer just how many problems both Walden and Alan are having in faking their marriage:

“Walden (Ashton Kutcher) discovers how challenging it is to be intimate with women with his foster son, Louis, in the house. Also, Herb (Ryan Stiles) asks Alan (Jon Cryer) if he can go on a date with Lyndsey (Courtney Thorne-Smith).”

It is nice for us to see more of Ryan Stiles on the show, and really, we’re just happy for the most part anytime that we can see longtime guest stars make another appearance here before things come to a close. That’s why it will be nice if we can get another Judith cameo before things are done, and if Ashton Kutcher’s recent interview can be read correctly, we probably will see more of Charlie Sheen.

The one person we’d be genuinely shocked to see again is Jake, if for no other reason than that Angus T. Jones doesn’t seem to have any interest in doing anything with the show.
